Zoomers to the Rescue! 🛟

I remember when I got a job in Montana and there were stories about car crashes I was supposed to cover, and my first thought was, this isn’t really a story. You see I had moved there from Los Angeles. And in Los Angeles if you report there is traffic at 4pm, it’s definitely not news. So, why would a crash causing traffic be news? Because in Missoula, MT it most definitely WAS news because it had the potential to close off the only route home for hundreds of commuters, maybe thousands.

It is absolutely extremely important to follow national or worldwide news because we’re at war, and gas prices are skyrocketing, but it can be tamed somewhat so Zoomers will listen.  Younger people who are consuming more local news have been inundated with immediate alerts, short video alerts with opinions and reactions nonstop, so let’s not add to that‼️

Local news is almost more comfortable for some listeners.

Finding out if your bus schedule changed, what the city council is doing, if there’s road work or construction on my way to or from work, and what’s happening over the weekend? Is there a street fair? Will I go or steer clear of the crowds?

Guess what? Local news and traffic can help you decide.
