I read news every single day. I have an eagle eye when it comes to typos. I don’t know why, I just do. I am astounded daily, yes daily, by the amount of typos (or gawd forbid spelling errors) I see as I read the news of the day.

When I first moved to the small town I now live in, I thought it was – skeleton staff, weekend staff, entry level market, etc. But, no. It’s rampant! I see typos on every website, in every newspaper and ee gads, no! on blogs and in emails too.

I understand if the copy editor, oops, missed one. But, when it’s a daily practice, isn’t it time to rethink the process?
