Claire Beverly

Claire Beverly started reading her high school`s morning news announcements at the age of 14 and hasn`t stopped since. She began her radio career in Los Angeles as a traffic reporter for Clear Channel Traffic`s "Airwatch" affiliate, which provides news and traffic reports for over 40 stations throughout California. After two years she became the operations manager, supervising nearly 60 employees. She spent ten years in Los Angeles, doing news and traffic for many of the highest rated stations in the market, including KFI, KOST, KBIG, and KIIS.

Her career began as a stage manager for live, professional Theatre in Los Angeles, Seattle, Tacoma, Boulder, Cincinnati, and her home town of Toledo, Ohio. Being a stage manager taught Claire how to talk and listen to ten people all at the same time, and still manage to get them all what they need.

Claire is currently the News and Public Affairs Director for a six-station cluster. Her daily duties include morning and afternoon news, traffic, entertainment reports and a weekly Community Affairs interview program. Claire also anchors for Remote News Service. Her voice can be heard on five affiliate stations.

Claire recently left Los Angeles to move closer to her family and now lives in Savannah, Georgia. She enjoys sweet tea, live oak trees dripping with Spanish moss and talking about traffic without actually sitting in it.
