Kevin Charles
Kevin Charles is a 30 year veteran of broadcasting. Kevin has been heard on radio stations throughout East Texas, Houston, St. Louis, Chicago, Omaha and the Pacific Northwest and most recently was added to the staff at the all new News 92 FM, KROI Houston. Kevin`s experience has landed him both on the air and behind the scenes, including duties as an on air personality, production director, and morning show producer. Besides his current role as news anchor, he has worked in a variety of formats including Country, Top 40, Oldies and Classic Hits.
Kevin was also the News Bureau Chief for Metro Networks Houston. During his tenure, Kevin and his staff kept Houston and Metro`s affiliates across the nation up to date with major stories including the downfall of Enron, the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina and Hurricane Rita. Kevin`s voice helped calm and inform residents as they evacuated the city prior to the storms.
Kevin`s vast knowledge and experience has been a welcomed addition to RNS` on air staff!
Kevin`s hobbies include camping, reading, photography and travel. Besides spending time with his wife and two daughters, Kevin is also actively involved with his local church.
